Green Transit Authority is a New York State–licensed cannabis microbusiness based in the Hudson Valley. Female-owned and operated, we are a seed-to-sale grower dedicated to cultivating small-batch flower with care, experience, and deep respect for the plant.
For over 30 years, our founder has worked in relationship with cannabis—listening closely to its rhythms, responses, and needs. That experience informs every stage of our process, from genetics and selection to cultivation and harvest. We do not grow at scale. We grow with attention.
Our work is guided by the belief that cannabis is not merely a product, but a living plant with the capacity to support a wide range of human experiences—rest, relief, joy, reflection, connection, and transformation.

Ceremonial-grade cannabis is offered as something worthy of supporting those who choose to engage with the plant intentionally, whether in quiet reflection, shared moments, or deeper personal practice, our cannabis is grown to support your chosen experience, whatever your journey.

Soul traits are the plant qualities beyond potency, yield, or appearance.
They are the essence of the medicine—the subtle dance between cannabinoids, terpenes, terroir, and the consumer’s own endocannabinoid system.
These are the intangible qualities that shape how a plant supports a
person’s desired path.
We believe recreational journeys with cannabis are not separate from spiritual or emotional well-being. Joy, rest, laughter, and escape can be medicinal, too. Every journey deserves care, quality, and respect.

Working at a limited scale allows us to give each plant the time, responsiveness, and care it requires. Small batch means presence, observation, and relationship, ensuring each harvest reflects intention rather than volume.

Our cannabis is sun-grown in living soil, guided by regenerative, indigenous methods that restore soil health, support biodiversity, and honor the Hudson Valley ecosystem that sustains both plant and community.
Together, these practices define our ceremonial-grade standard—cannabis cultivated as medicine, ally, and companion for a wide range of journeys.
Our farm is located on land traditionally stewarded by the Esopus people, a Munsee Lenape band, and related Munsee and Mohican peoples, who viewed the land and its ecosystems as sacred, living, and interconnected. This spiritual, reciprocal approach to land stewardship inspires our work.
Ceremonial-grade, craft cannabis is cultivated through an ongoing conversation between the grower, the plant, and the Hudson Valley ecosystem it emerges from. Guided by over 30 years of experience, we listen closely—allowing each cultivar to reveal its own rhythm, expression, and purpose.
Our approach to cultivation is inseparable from our commitment to justice and equity—recognizing cannabis as a plant that has been both sacred and criminalized, and choosing to steward it with responsibility, humility, and care.
Small-batch cultivation keeps cannabis connected to place, people, and purpose. By working at a scale that allows attention to each plant, we prioritize quality, integrity, and relationship over speed or uniformity. This approach means fewer releases—but flower that reflects the season, the environment, and the care it received at every stage. Supporting small, local producers strengthens community, preserves the character of the land, and honors the plants we grow.
